The Trident Flat Fold P2 Level 3 Respirator in size extra small offers advanced multilayer technology for protection against particulates and fluids. Its three panel design ensures structural integrity and a comfortable, personalized fit. The nose seal is adjustable for a secure fit and to prevent fogging of eyewear. This versatile respirator is suitable for a range of facial shapes and sizes, making it effective for those who are typically "hard to fit." Additionally, it has been tested and certified for its high bacterial filtration efficiency, fluid resistance, and low breathing resistance. It can be used with other personal protective equipment and is latex-free to reduce the risk of allergies. Each mask is individually numbered and packaged for traceability, portability, and hygiene.
How to Apply:
Gently position the respirator on your hand, with the nose strip near your fingertips. Ensure the head straps are free from twists and rest them over your hand. Open the top and bottom panels of the mask and fold the foam nose seal. Place the lower panel under your chin and the upper panel over your nose bridge, beneath the eyes. Using one hand, place the top head strap at the crown of your head. Draw the lower head strap up and over your face, securing it below your ears and at the back of your neck. Be careful not to cross the head straps. With both hands, shape the foam nose seal to fit your nose bridge and cheeks, creating a snug fit. Perform a fit check (see instructions below). Cover the front of the respirator with both hands, take a deep breath, and exhale sharply.
Fit Check List:
If there is air leakage at the nose or cheek areas, simply adjust the foam nose seal until you achieve a secure seal. If air is leaking around the edge of the respirator, adjust the head straps and reposition the mask until a seal is achieved. A successful fit check is when there is no air leakage. Always make sure to perform a fit check before entering the work area. If you are unable to achieve a successful fit check, remove and refit the respirator. If you are still unable to obtain a successful fit check, do not enter the work area.
How to Remove:
When removing the respirator, only touch the head straps. Pull the bottom strap over the top of the head, followed by the top strap. Dispose of the used respirator in the designated waste receptacle, following site infection control and prevention policies. Remember to wash and sanitize your hands after handling the respirator.
Important:
Before using your disposable respirator, be sure to perform a fit check and read the included wearer instructions. If you experience air leakage around the nose, adjust the foam nose/cheek support strip and repeat the fit check. Keep in mind that a proper fit is crucial for optimal protection.
